Makeup Review: Day-to-Night Mascara from Maybelline!

Maybelline Volum' Express One-By-One Mascara Review

Some of you may already know that one of my makeup obsessions is mascara. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect mascara for the right occasion. I have my favourite night time mascara by Benefit, but I'm still on the hunt for a great mascara for every day wear. That was until I was sent Maybelline Volum' Express One-By-One Mascara in Very Black, to test out. Now the hunt is over (at least for now :).

I love this mascara! It lengthens and coats even the smallest lashes pretty well.

My Style: Polished Lace!

H&M Lace Blouse & Joe Fresh Lace Trousers Outfit

I'm starting a new path in my professional career and needed to update to my wardrobe. I like to dress for the day depending on my mood that morning. I was feeling a little girly the day I saw these lace detailed pants at Joe Fresh.

My Style: H&M Blouse, Joe Fresh Trousers, Aldo Clutch, Jessica Shoes from Sears, fashion, styletips, outfit, OOTD, lace, pants, shirt, attire, work, transition, The Purple Scarf, Melanie.Ps, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The lace detail along the leg gives these regular black trousers a dressier feel and they fit wonderfully.

Exhibit: Therapy at the AGO!

Art Gallery of Ontario's Art as Therapy Exhibition Review

The cold winter season is really starting to drag on and is giving me a case of the winter blues. I'm finding it hard to get enough energy to do anything besides going to work, and I only do that because of the stack of bills that need to get paid. I decided that I was in desperate need of some art therapy.

Well another year has gone by. I know I'm a few weeks late with this post, but one of my resolutions for this year is too not stress (too much) over getting things done. So here is my yearly roundup at the past year, the good, the bad and the fabulous and ideas for 2015!

I can't believe it's already 2015. I have spent the first few days of this New Year, sick in bed. I like to think that I'm getting the bad stuff out of the way first.

Haircare Review: All Clear!

Clear Scalp & Hair Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner + Mask Review

For the past several weeks, I have been using Clear Scalp & Hair Intense Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Treatment Mask. I have been itching (quite literally recently) to try out this brand for a while, and was excited to receive these three full size products in my Spark Sessions swag bag.

Like many people, I suffer from dry skin which includes my scalp, and it gets pretty bad in the winter months. So when I found out that the Clear Haircare line "deeply nourishes the scalp" as well as "promising beautiful hair", I knew I had to try it.

Skincare Review: Say Goodbye to Winter Dry Skin with Nivea!

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk Review

The winter has finally blown in in cold full force and with it, my dry, itchy skin: "Hello my name is Melanie.Ps and I suffer from dry skin." I absolutely hate what the winter weather does to my skin. Between freezing cold winds outside and the dry heat indoors, my skin takes a beating. That's why I was so excited to receive Nivea's In-Shower Body Milk in my Spark Sessions swag bag. And hello time-saver!

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk is a new product that is applied while you are still in the shower. After washing with my regular body wash and rinsing, I just apply it to my wet skin and rinse off. That's it!

Food & Drink Review: My At Home Café!

Keurig 2.0 Brewing System Review

I had an early Christmas surprise just before the holidays! I received a complimentary Keurig 2.0 K400 Brewing System and a sample of K-Cups from Influenster to sample and review. And I have been enjoying amazing coffee at home ever since.

When I first opened the box, I was a little daunted by it. It looked very confusing and hard to figure out. But it was so easy to set up and use.

My Style: Faux Fur, Feathers & Fringe!

H&M Faux Fur Jacket and Peplum Top & Joe Fresh Fringe Skirt Outfit

One of the biggest trends this season is faux fur. From the runway to the the streets, this cozy and stylish trend can be seen everywhere. From warm trim on coats and soft comfy scarfs to fun colourful coats, faux fur is the go to cold weather accessory.

I love faux fur and Winter is the perfect time to wear it. Not only is it warm and cozy, but can be fun and can quickly add glamour to any outfit. I fell in love with two faux fur jackets my last visit to H&M. The first jacket I featured in my last Style Post, and the second is this fabulous purple and blue one.
