Beauty: Soft + Supple Skin With MaskerAide!

Heya! I like to relax with a facial mask over the weekend as apart of my weekly beauty routine. It's a great way to relax, help restore my skin from the previous week, and get it ready for the week ahead. It's a beauty tradition I enjoy (usually with a glass of wine:). For the past 4 weeks, I tried 3 different masks, I was sent to sample from MaskerAide. And for the past 4 weeks, my skin has felt refreshed, rejuvenated, and soft.

What is unique about MaskerAide Facial Sheet Masks is that, instead of applying a thick paste that hardens on my skin, MaskerAide masks are made from a thin fibre sheets, that is cut to the contours of my face. The mask is then soaked in a highly concentrated Argan Oil based serum that is infused with enough vitamins and nutrients, to solve a variety of skin issues.

The first sheet mask I tried was Weather Warrior. This mask is infused with Green Tea, Aloe, and Witch Hazel, and is suppose "to help soothe, calm, and heal" my skin "allowing it to breathe a sigh of relief."  Weather Warrior did that and more for me. I applied the mask and left it on for 20 minutes. I spread the serum all over my neck as well, as suggested by MaskerAide. After I removed the mask and applied my night moisterizer, my skin felt refreshed. For the next 20 minuetes or so, I felt a tightening of my skin and then it just felt soft and supple. For the last few months, my skin has been plagued by red blemishes. The morning after I applied the Weather Warrior Mask, my blemishes were faded and my overall skin tone just looked better.

The second sheet mask I tried was All Nighter. This mask is infused with Aloe, Peppermint Oil, Heartleaf, Honey, Super Fruit and Cactus Extracts, and is suppose "to erase the signs of the previous night and get (me) boardroom ready." All Nighter did wake my skin up and the peppermint scent made me feel more awake, which makes this mask better suited to apply in the morning. Although I did not feel any tightening of the skin like I did with Weather Warrior, my skin still felt soft and supple. The next morning, my skin tone looked more even and my eyes looked less tired.

The third and fourth week, I tried Pre Party Prep. This mask is infused with Orange Peel Oil, Super Fruit Extracts, Rice Extracts and Honey that "is suppose to help energize, hydrate, brighten, and prime (my) skin for a velvety-smooth finish." I again applied this mask at night. Although I was not intending on going out, I applied my makeup like I was going out, to see if Pre Party Prep does "create a perfect canvas for foundation application." Pre Party Prep did live up to the hype and acted like an amazing primer for my skin. My foundation went on smoothly, skin tone looked even, and my skin felt so soft. The next week, I applied Pre Party Prep again, with out the makeup application afterwards. I wanted to find out if it is good to use as just as regular sheet mask. There was no tightening, but my skin was soft and supple and my skin tone looked even and brighter the morning after.

MaskerAide Facial Sheet Masks are my new favourite facial masks. There are 6 different mask types and all 3 types I tried made my skin feel soft and supple, and were easy to apply with no mess. My favourite of the 3 was Weather Warrior. I liked how it tightened my skin and my blemishes appeared faded and less red. I can't wait to try the other 3 types. All MaskerAide Facial Sheet Masks are Paraben, Sulfate, Mineral Oil, Artificial Fragrance, and Benzophenone free. They are Vegan Friendly with no added pigments.
