I have a confession to make. From last March until September, I neglected my regular beauty routine and my skin wasn't looking too good. Because of some personal difficulties, I wasn't feeling too excited about several things in my life which including putting in alot of effort into my personal appearance. A few weeks ago I made some hard decisions in my life, which I'm pretty excited about and will share soon, and I decided it was time to get back to basics and start looking as good as I felt. It was at that time that I received L'Oreal's new RevitaLift Bright Reveal Collection free to test out and review, which I took as a sign that I made the right decisions!

The L'Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Collection includes a Brightening Scrub Cleanser, Brightening Peel Pads, Brightening Dual Moisturizer, and Brightening Daily Lotion and are packed with anti-aging ingredients including Vitamin GC Acid, Hepes, Glycolic Acid (formulated with 10% - one of the highest amounts found in drugstores), Perlite, and Retinol. Which is great for someone who is closer to 40 than 30 (but still doesn't look it:).

But because of this, I didn't really take care of my skin or follow a beauty routine when I was a teenager. And now in my late thirties, this dilemma is not only still here, but has become increasingly embarrassing when dealing with the public and going out on dates (maybe this is reason people think I'm younger than I am?). So when I had the opportunity to test out Clean & Clear's Oil-free skincare routine, I jumped at the chance.

Who knows, maybe skincare products I should've used when I was a teen, will work now that I'm an adult?

Charcoal has been popping up in ingredient lists of many beauty products in North America over the last year. Although it has been a main ingredient for a long time in beauty products in the Asian market, it still is relatively new on this side of the pond.

Charcoal is supposed to have excellent absorption properties and help create beautiful clean skin. Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser is the first product I've used containing charcoal and it may be my last.

So for the past several weeks I have been using the L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Eye Smoother, and I have some mixed feelings about this product.

When I first started looking for different eye creams/serums to test out, the L'Oreal Miracle Blur jumped out. I mean it has miracle in it's name, and let's face it I was searching for a miracle! (Marketing at it's best:).

Last month I had my skin analyzed for moisture levels and was shocked to find out my skin was less than 10% hydrated in spots (normal is about 40%). It was nearing the end of a very cold winter and I just started trying out some new skin care products that were not reacting well with my skin. The mix of the weather and the new products made my skin feel dry and it looked rough and dull. I needed something fast to help replenish and hydrate my skin and get it ready for the warm weather fast approaching. I received the Pure + Simple Pure Essentials Kit at Spark Sessions last November and thought this is the perfect time to try it.

Several months ago, I won a giveway and the prizes were three different Moroccanoil body skincare products. I was supper excited to try all three of these products, since I heard such good things about them and I regularly suffer from dry skin.

The first Moroccanoil product I tried was the Body Butter. Right away I noticed was how much was in the tub. I have been using this product for a few months and I have only used about half. Which is good since the retail price is around $52.00. The Body Butter is quite thick and a little really does go a long way.

My skin has a strange mix of issues. Because of my age, I'm worried about the tiny lines that have been appearing on my face.
