A few weeks ago one of the last cold weeks in March happened which is a sure sign that Fashion Week has arrived in Toronto. I don't know why but Fashion Week always has terrible weather - either very cold or wet or both. Which is unfortunate for people like myself who can't wait to wear their open-toe strappy heels to one of the best fashion events in Toronto.

Not only is it the weekend and I don't have to go to my full time paying job (always a cause for excitement) but this Saturday is the official launch date of the ANDY WARHOL X Converse Spring 2015 Collection in Canada! It's always a cause for celebration when the pop art world collides with the fashion world!

Two of my favourite names in the world - Chuck Taylor and Andy Warhol - have partnered together to create some amazing shoes. Just in time for Valentine's Day (Happy V-Day to me)!

Tights have become an essential garment in any woman's wardrobe. And now that the colder weather is here, it's the perfect fashion piece to add under most dresses and skirts, look fabulous, and still stay warm.

I love adding leggings and tights to different outfits. They are a great way to add a little flair and have some fun with your outfit. I like to also change up the look of patterned sheer tights, by layering a pair of bright coloured tights under the patterned one.

In case you haven't heard, Target just released their lookbook for their newest designer collaboration and it's fabulous! Target has partnered with Joseph Altuzarra, 2014 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year, to create a 50-piece collection that ranges in price from $18 - $90.

Available September 14, 2014, the collection includes many work appropriate pieces that can easily transition into cocktails at night. There are also some stunning dresses that will look fabulous on a red carpet! The collection focuses on deep colours and interesting patterns like green snakeskin and black jacquard, with some great pieces that will incorporate into your wardrobe well. There are so some amazing accessories and footwear items, as well as a satin cami set complete with lace face mask.

One of my fashion loves (and vices) is sunglasses! I love them! Not only can they complete an outfit perfectly, but they are functional as well. I have extremely sensitive eyes and have to wear sunglasses practically every time I'm outside, which is why in most of My Style posts, I'm wearing sunglasses. And they also protect my eyes from the sun and are a fabulous solution to covering up tired looking eyes, making me look and feel more awake.

Trend Alert!: Radiant Orchid Love!

I'm so excited for 2014! And one of the reason's for my excitement is the colour of the year, as chosen by Pantone, is the purple shade Radiant Orchid! And in case you didn't know, purple is my favourie colour. I love all shades of this fabulous hue including Radiant Orchid!

Wedge Sneakers

The Huffington Post reported that a poll taken by couponscodes4u.com revealed that the least attractive shoe is.... drum roll please...... the wedge heel. Really! I personally think Uggs should be #1, but I'm not a man. I've featured many of these "least attractive" shoe styles in previous posts. And I love them! I've got a lot of compliments on them, many of those compliments have been from men.
