Event: Anything Goes at Fashion Week in Toronto!

A few weeks ago one of the last cold weeks in March happened which is a sure sign that Fashion Week has arrived in Toronto. I don't know why but Fashion Week always has terrible weather - either very cold or wet or both. Which is unfortunate for people like myself who can't wait to wear their open-toe strappy heels to one of the best fashion events in Toronto.

World MasterCard Fashion Week happens in Toronto twice a year, once in March for the Fall Runway shows and in October for Spring.

WMCFW Day 2 and Day 3 Outfits

This year, Toronto Fashion Week almost had an "anything goes" mantra for fashion both on and off the runway. The fashions were just as diverse as the people wearing them. From ripped jeans and sneakers to Monola Blaniks and sequined dresses, as long it was stylish and worn with confidence (most) outfits looked fabulous. A few of the recurring trends spotted in several shows was fur (both real and faux), bright colours like oranges, reds and teals, and lots of layering with turtlenecks peeking through. If you have never been to Fashion Week in Toronto, I suggest you put on your fashionably best and visit next time. It's always fun to dress up and people watch both those on and off the runway. There is always interesting people to meet inside the tents, and new products to try. Tickets are always on sale for the runway shows and day passes are on sale at the tents. I hope to see you in October!
