Almay Beauty Review & Tutorial
A few weeks ago I was invited to an Almay Picnic event and workshop, with several other bloggers, at the beautiful Sky Yard at The Drake Hotel in Toronto. The event was led by Almay Canada's National Product Trainer Jacquie Hutchinson, who introduced us to several of Almay's products and how to incorporate them into and easy and pretty beauty routine. Perfect for those rushed mornings!
All attendees were given a cute Keep Leaf lunch bag full of personalized makeup and beauty items that will help pull together a polished and pretty look, very quickly. Jacquie instructed us through the different steps to achieve the look, which includes the beloved smoky eye, with great tips and helpful advice. I'm going to share these with you and a chance for you to win all the Almay products I tried, customized for you, so you can try this look at home!
Eye Shadow Makeup Review
Heya! Several weeks ago, I attended a Revlon beauty event, where I was given several Revlon makeup products to try at home. I loved the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Lip Stains and Revlon Colouburst Lip Balms, so I was excited to review the Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks, a range of individual eye shadows that click (link) together to form your own customized colour palette. The colours I tried are Lime (satin finish), Plum (matte finish), Lilac (pearl finish), Moss (pearl finish), and Onyx (pearl finish).
Heya! I've always known about Almay Make-up, and even tried some of their products in the past. I wasn't really impressed with them, so I've never tried Almay again. But several weeks ago, I met Almay PR Representative Kelsey, at the Fashion and Beauty Blogger Conference Spark Sessions. She introduced me to some of Almay's products, the history of the company, and the great love story of Fanny May and Alfred Woititz, the founders of Almay.
