HeartBeats T.O. T-shirt & Noisy May Distressed Jeans Outfit
Back in September, I enjoyed the annual Manifesto Festival at Yonge-Dundas Square downtown Toronto. As well as some amazing street art and concerts happening, there were also many local vendors selling some really cool fashions. I bought two different Toronto t-shirts, one from 1 Love T.O., which I featured in a past Style Post, and the other from HeartBeats T.O..JPG "My Style!: HeartBeats T.O. I love the print design of this T-shirt, such a cool idea!!! The Toronto skyline forms a heartbeat much like an EKG machine readout. "HeartBeats T.O. is a clothing line designed to express the love for the City of Toronto in a unique way."

I was a little torn when buying this t-shirt. The pop up shop did not stock any ladies t-shirts sizes and I did not like the baggy fit of the men's small. But I loved the design, so I paid the $20 and bought it. When I got home, I took some scissors to it and cut the neckline bigger and created an off-the-shoulder tee. I also cut the sleeves shorter, since they were way too long. I love the way it turned out. Because I turned the t-shirt into an off-the-shoulder tee, the baggier fit doesn't look out of place. I paired my HeartBeats T.O. tee with my new comfortable Noisy May distressed jeans. Distressed denim is such a huge trend right now, so when I saw these jeans on the clearance rack at Hudson's Bay, I knew I had to buy them!

HeartBeats T.O. started out as a hobby by two Toronto sisters, but because of popular demand, started selling their t-shirts online and at pop up shops at various festivals.
