Two Activewear Outfits from WinnersFive weeks ago I shocked everyone who knows me (and myself) and quit smoking and joined a gym. I began a Healthy Journey with many steps involved, including exercising and joining a gym. After signing up and paying my gym fees, I left feeling excited and proud of myself. But then just as I was getting on the TTC, it hit me - I needed clothes to workout in.
I've never really owned anything that would be considered 'workout clothes'; I haven't visited a gym in almost 20 years, so I really wasn't sure what I needed. I didn't want to spend a fortune on new clothes and I wanted something I will be comfortable wearing. Thank goodness for Winners!
Winners has a large section of activewear clothing that ranges in price, with most pieces starting around $19.99. They had so many types and styles to choose from, that I found it hard to choose what to buy. One of my favourite fabulous find would have to be the Kyodan pants. They are super comfortable, lots of room to breathe in, and have pockets that are perfect to hold my MP3 player and phone.
Winners also has a lot of exercise accessories including bags and water bottles. The stylish KGB Studio bag is large enough to fit all the stuff I need for the gym and is made from easy care for fabric - just wipe clean. I also got the cute 'mason jar' water bottle from Winners a few years ago!
The New Balance shoes are definitely my favourite items from both looks! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, it's like wearing two clouds on my feet. My eyes actually teared up in the store from utter contentment, when I tried them on at Fit4Balance. To compliment my gym clothes from Winners, I also wear some t-shirts I have 'MacGyvered' (cut up) at home. Now I'm not only comfortable, but look fabulous while on my Healthy Journey!
