Toronto Weekend Events Listing for January 8 - 10, 2016This week was a rough one for me, trying to get back to my regular work and life schedule after the craziness of the past two months, was difficult to say the least. So this weekend I will be playing catch up with the long list of things I need to do. But I will have to get out and enjoy some of the fun events happening across Toronto.
Here are my top picks for happenings and events across the city this weekend:
Don't like wearing pants? Then this weekend was made for you. The No Pants Festival happens all this weekend with a no pants art show, no pants dance party and more no pants fun, ending with the 15th Annual No Pants Subway Ride on Sunday.
Broke from the holidays? Head to The Harbourfront for DJ Skate Night featuring DJ John Kong on Saturday for some cheap fun!
Culture & Exhibits:
Immerse yourself in Andy Warhol's world at TIFF. Andy Warhol: Stars of the Silver Screen is running all weekend along with some great films.
The fall exhibitions may have ended at The Power Plant Gallery but Black Cloud is still on display and is a must see!
Theatre & Music:
Are you suffering from Fringe Festival withdrawal? Don't fret - Next Stage Festival started on Wednesday and runs until January 17, 2016.
P.s!: If you completely broke from the holidays or saving for you vacation (like me), check out my Explore Toronto page for some fabulous ideas on some free things to do in Toronto!
