Event: My New Summer Fling!

On Thursday night I went to a private shopping party, accompanied by my always fabulously dressed friend, Scotty (boom botty :). The party was celebrating the 4th anniversary of the clothing store, The Coal Miner's Daughter and was co hosted by online fashion blogger The Dainty Girl. I have never been in this store and didn't really know what to expect but, Wow, I am now a new fan of The Coal Miner's Daughter!

Several designers sell their amazing lines at amazing prices along side hand picked vintage shoes and purses. The unique way some product is displayed by using refurbished furniture and unusual uses of everyday items, just adds to the eye candy overload! I was like a kid in a fabulous candy store!

And to add to my shopping experience, I was fed champagne and cupcakes!!! O..M..G!! I ended up buying a versatile and beautiful dress by 3rd floor studio designed by Shoshana Kuper (who was Fashion magazine's pick for best dressed at The National Ballet of Canada gala recently), and an absolutely amazing time piece necklace by an awesome company called Love Nail Tree (that a friend already told me she was going to "borrow" when I wasn't looking).

All and all a fabulous night: cocktails, chocolate, fashion, friends, and did I mention the free gel manicures by the fabulous Bio Seaweed gel girls?! Amazing!  
 

And P.s!: I won the raffle for a Vivienne Necklace by Shop by Jayu the next day! Not only have I found a new fling but a new love! Thank-you DaintyGirl for introducing me to Coal Miner's Daughter!
